This Fap fseries lock barrel removal key is used to remove lock barrels, from doors, petrol filler caps and cupboards,

to use this tool the lock must be UNLOCKED, it will not remove a barrel which is locked.

how to use the FAP f series lock barrel removal tool?.

spray a liberal amount of WD40 or similar lubricant into the lock, and insert the removal key fully into the lock, once inserted apply a small amount of turning pressure and gently pull the lock removal tool towards you, and this will extract the barrel from the lock housing. PLEASE NOTE to remove a door barrel, the internal handle and small lock retaining circlip must be removed prior to lock removal.
