This lock barrel removal key is used to remove FW, FP and DM high security lock barrels, from doors, petrol filler caps and cupboards,

to use this tool the lock must be UNLOCKED, it will not remove a barrel which is locked.

noticed we sell a few plastic removal keys alongside their metal counterparts....so why a Plastic removal key?

we sell both these and the metal alternatives, honestly we believe the plastic keys work way better as cylinder removal tools as they grip the cylinder opposed to sliding out when trying to pull the plug, and being they are made from durable PETG plastic they are robust and tougher than you would think,

how to use the plastic lock barrel removal tool?.

fully insert the removal key fully into the UNLOCKED lock, once inserted gently pull the lock removal tool towards you, and this will extract the barrel from the lock housing. PLEASE NOTE to remove a door barrel, the internal handle and small lock retaining circlip must be removed prior to lock removal.
